Mobilaris has started a pilot project in the Industrial LBS segment together with Swedish mining corporations LKAB and Boliden. Based upon trials and experiences from LKAB and Bolidens underground mines, Mobilaris goal is to launch a decision support product based on information about the position of vehicles, items or people. The product will be based on Mobilaris well-proven LBS platform that aggregates position information from multiple technologies such as WIFI, RFID, GPS, INS, Mobile Network and other sources in combination with 3D GIS data of the underground mine.
